My name is Natalie Atkins, born and raised on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis, Indiana where my heart will forever reside. My mission is to do my part in improving life for our elderly community members - My hope is that I can make difference, big or small.
Cardinal Care's Story
The concept of Cardinal Care originated in 2018, when my Mother was caring for my Grandmother who was battling Dementia. Initially we could not care for her full-time, and had to put our trust in different organizations to assist us. Unfortunately, some members of those organizations disappointed us and I began to notice a lack in the quality of care my Grandmother was receiving. This was a very uneasy feeling, and I surely didn't want other families to feel this way. Something then told me I could make a difference somehow, someday and that's when the idea for Cardinal Care came to me . It's been a slow process but I finally realized that I want to make a difference within our elderly community.
Cardinal Care is still in the beginning stages, and will definitely be evolving. For now though, we are focusing on training our community members on how to administer life saving techniques that could save not only their elderly family member, but any adult or child that is in distress.
